This second edition of White Fire was previously published in its entirety in a single volume (2020) and is now available as a two-volume edition (2025) This is Volume I White Fire is significant for seekers everywhere. Mooji's end-of-the-road pointings will undoubtedly serve each one's awakening to the eternal Self. When followed earnestly, Mooji's guidance pulls the externalised mind back to its origin in the most simple, immediate and powerful way. In turn, our pure and timeless Being is revealed to be untouched by the limitations and suffering of the personal ego. Mooji's words are complemented by his striking, zen-like brush drawings and a rich selection of black-and-white photos offer glimpses of various facets of Mooji's life. Due to practical considerations related to the length of the full work, the collection of close to 800 sayings, which encapsulate Mooji's essential spiritual teachings, were split across two volumes and released in 2025. Volume I contains the first half and all photos of the single-volume edition. Volume II comprises the second half of the longer book plus a new set of photos and a new Self-realisation guidance. Related works: White Fire Volume II (ISBN 978-1-908408-58-7), released 2025; White Fire Single-Volume Edition (ISBN 978-1-908408-35-8), released 2020
Mooji is a true light in this world, whose presence, wisdom and loving guidance have the power to bring us out of suffering and delusion, revealing who we are beyond the limitations of our personal conditioning and identity. Seekers of Truth from all backgrounds and traditions are deeply touched by Mooji's indefinable presence and direct guidance and are inspired to find within themselves the deep peace, love and silence they recognise in him. Born in Jamaica, Mooji (Anthony Paul Moo-Young) moved to London as a teenager. In 1987, while praying with a devout Christian friend, Mooji had his first great spiritual awakening. In 1993, Mooji travelled to India where, seemingly by chance, he met his Master, Sri HWL Poonja, or 'Papaji', as he is affectionately known by his devotees. At Papaji's feet, whatever still remained of an active ego was finally uprooted. Recognising Mooji's radiance, people from various parts of the world began to approach him simply to sit in his presence and ask questions regarding their search for Truth. Through grace, the capacity to guide each one arose spontaneously, and thus began the sharing of satsang worldwide. Mooji's unity with Truth is potently shared through self-inquiry, the Invitation and the 'Just Be' sitting exercise, simple, practical and unsparing guidance for those seeking true and lasting Self-realisation. Each one who meets Mooji with a genuine urge for freedom is pulled by the immensity of his unconditional love and the power of his pointings into the recognition of the infinite Self we already are. Mooji presently lives in Portugal and continues to share satsang with all who yearn to discover their true nature: timeless, unborn Awareness.
