Dive into a rhyming sea of outrage, absurdity, and fishy hypocrisy-where everyone's got a cause, and the sharks are always hungry. In White Fish, Black Fish, Trend Fish, Woke Fish, the ocean was peaceful-until the fish started picking sides. Black fish. White fish. Trendy fish. Woke fish. Then came groupthink, cancel culture, virtue signals, and total fishy chaos. As division spirals and fish obsess over nonsense, one predator smiles beneath the surface... Told in whimsical rhyme and Seussian style, this adult picture book parodies our divided world with biting satire and laugh-out-loud illustrations. Equal parts ridiculous and relevant, this is not a children's book-it's a bold, hilarious swim through the absurdity of modern culture. Perfect for readers who enjoy social commentary, dark humor, or political satire in the style of The Onion, South Park, and irreverent adult picture books.
Autorenporträt
Matt Sanderson is a writer, satirist, and illustrator who believes humor is the sharpest tool in the box. Inspired by classic children's rhymes and frustrated by modern absurdities, he created White Fish, Black Fish, Trend Fish, Woke Fish as a tongue-in-gill takedown of cultural chaos. When he's not drawing fish with attitude, he's observing the strange sea of human behavior - sometimes from a keyboard, sometimes from a bike seat. This is his debut illustrated book for grown-ups who've had enough of groupthink and just want to laugh.
