Douglas E. Johnson is an author intrigued by writing since childhood. Then, in his adult years, he read many suspense and crime thriller novels by famous authors. In doing so, he began writing crime fiction short stories. He has entered several writing contests within the United States, but now, he has further expanded his creativity with his first book, Why Deceive Me. Douglas grew up in Long Island, New York, but now lives in upstate New York.
