It was never the author's intention to link his personal experiences and the observations resulting from a lifetime of travel to the two thousand year history of migration, expulsion and exile suffered by the Jewish diaspora. It was just unavoidable. This book describes each of the travel related events that culminated in this unanticipated outcome.

Autorenporträt
The author's life-long interest in travel, history and geography began at age ten with a hobby, stamp collecting, whose representation of exotic and far away countries piqued his interest in learning more about the world. At age sixteen the author spent six weeks driving throughout much of the USA and Mexico. Since then, he and his wife, Ronnie, have traveled extensively, visiting each of the continents and numerous countries during the past fifty years. The author is a Licensed Professional Engineers with degrees from Rutgers University and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was Chairman of Yates Restoration Group, a New York City contractor, as well as President of the New York Sheet Metal and Roofing Crafts Institute, and a long term trustee of a Teamster Pension Fund. He is the father of two and the grandfather of four to whom this book is dedicated.
