Autorenporträt
Denisha L. Barnes was born in Compton, California. She is the mother of a young son named Tanner. She is the founder of Heavenly Freckles LLC. Her company's focus is to share the stories of young black and brown girls all over the world. In addition, her toy line of dolls depicts the same images as the characters in her book. She is passionate about helping little brown and black girls be proud of their skin and facial features through dolls produced to help fill the lack of diversity in the toy industry.
