N. Bruce Rogers is a retired academic with a background in physics, psychology, research biochemistry, and sacred languages. He has two master's degrees, one in Classical Studies and one in Christian theology. His academic awards include election to Phi Beta Kappa and a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship. The author and the bride of his youth have three middle-aged sons and six grandchildren.
