Dr. Cecilia Wick, née Grundtmann, PhD. Studies in Biomolecular Chemistry at the Södertörn Högskola in Stockholm, Sweden, graduation in 2002. In 2008 PhD from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, on pathogenetic mechanism in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. Since 2008 Postdoctoral fellow at the Division of Experimental Pathophysiology and Immunology, Laboratory of Autoimmune Disease, Biocenter Medical University Innsbruck, Austria. Specialization in the field of Induction of immunological tolerance against atherosclerosis and the development of novel vaccines against atherosclerosis. Currently, head of the Laboratory of Autoimmune Disease in Innsbruck.
