Autorenporträt
Celeste Snowber, Ph.D. is a dancer, writer, poet and educator, who is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University, Greater Vancouver, BC Canada. Her essays and poetry have been published extensively in various journals and chapters in books and she is author of Embodied Prayer and co-author of Landscapes in Aesthetic Education. Her deep love of place has informed both her performative and poetic work and she continues to create and perform site-specific dance and poetry in connection to the natural world. She has performed a full-length show including dance, humor and voice entitled, Women giving birth to a red pepper, which explores sexuality and mid-life. Celeste has three amazing adult sons and lives in New Westminster, B.C. with her husband.
