Windowscreens in the modern world allow us to gain so much knowledge and explore new ideas and concepts. But what lies beyond the windowscreen can never be replaced because true experience is unmatched. True experience and living are only found when you journey outside and into the world. The Windowscreen will help teach children the benefits and pitfalls of technology and the best ways to engage all of your sense beyond screens.

Kristina Mowen, the author behind the pen name Professor Pond, is a new author who crafts children's books specifically focusing on non-traditional education. In Kristina's debut book, Windowscreen, Kristina hopes to set the stage for exploring new age obstacles that children and families face. A lifelong lover of Dr. Seuss, cheesy handwritten poems in birthday cards, and the magic of childhood, she draws inspiration from authors, life's simple pleasures, and childhood experience. When she's not writing, you can find her coaching or on some field, court, or gym supporting her daughter and two stepsons.
