The Author: Gerhard Gelbmann, born 1968 in Vienna (Austria), studied Philosophy at the University of Vienna and at the University of Bergen (Norway). He currently teaches at the University of Bergen. The author's main interests centre around Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Psychology, Theory of Communication, and Semiotics.
