Women of the Revolution: Untold Stories from America's Founding brings to life the overlooked heroines of America's fight for independence. From mothers who spun homespun and led food riots, to spies who slipped intelligence through enemy lines, to enslaved and Native women who struggled for dignity amid upheaval, this book restores women to the heart of the Revolutionary story. Elizabeth Carter weaves together vivid narrative and historical research, showing how women shaped the struggle for liberty not only in battlefields and households but in faith, literature, and legacy. Their stories are not just footnotes to history-they are the foundation of America's unfinished fight for freedom.
