Her work is exhibited in museums all over the world. She is a Commandeur in the French government's Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and has been designated a Living Legend by the Library of Congress. In March 2024, Leibovitz was inducted into the Académie des Beaux-Arts. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian writer with a global audience. Susan Sontag was one of the most prominent writers and public intellectuals of the twentieth century. Gloria Steinem has represented American feminism for over five decades.
