A book of poetry that will help captivate the interest of the reader, these poems are designed to motivate its readers interest of their surroundings--the world, family, friends, God, love, memories and more, giving them the beauty of what God has given .It will spark their imagination; and they, too, will reminisce a lot more than what they can believe. Let these poems be inspiring and take you on a journey with me and see all the experiences you may find. May you find love and comfort, leaving your heart filled with joy, contentment and peace. Most of all, may you feel God's love and see the beautiful world around you that He has made. As you read, may your mind be occupied with the meaning of life itself and the beauty of those around you. Life is precious; and without God, family and friends there would be no life. May the "sweet spirits" of the world and His love open your heart and let you, too, find that happiness and peace that you have been searching for and the light that awaits you at the end of that dark tunnel.
Eva Millard Hinson was born in Mount Olive, North Carolina on February 9, 1950, being the sixth child of eight siblings and having a baby sister that passed away at eight months old while she was still in her mother's womb. Eva never saw her sister but loves her even to this day and quite often thinks about her, bringing tears to her eyes. She feels this has contributed to her having a lonely life and that this has given her the imaginative mind and inspiration for writing that she has. As a child, she would reminisce about things that never happened or things she never had. Though not quite understanding this phase of her life, she now feels these factors are the main reason for her writing talent. She never felt that she was good enough to pursue this talent. She hated reading in school and could not understand why she likes to write. As a poet, she loves writing about the simple, everyday things in life and tries to write them where they are easily read and understood by those who do not have the comprehension to understand big, elaborate words. Simply put and nicely said, you will find that her words have true meaning (even though some of them may be funny and bring laughter) and can be understood by all readers.Eva thanks her friends for their influence and inspiration on sharing her poetry with others. Though it took her a long time and many a year, she has finally started her journey and would like to thank these friends and family for all the encouragement. Most of all, she thanks God for this gift and hopes you can feel His love as much as she does.Come along and ride with her and see what you may find.
