A graduate of The Ohio State University, he holds an honorary doctorate from Dominican University. Five years ago, he began writing to make a difference. Through the VanderHorst Family Foundation, he and his wife Jennifer have supported education and those in need for over 30 years. Originally from the Midwest, he now resides in both Wales, UK, and Naples, FL.
