Produktbeschreibung
This book deals with the work process developed in the workshops and professional training courses of the Superintendence of the Penal Enforcement System (Susepe), from the perspective of social inclusion of inmates into the labour market after serving their sentences. Prison work, as the subject of research, made it possible to understand the relationship between education and work experienced in that prison institution. It also sought to understand how the workshops and courses relate to each other in order to fulfil the resocialisation purpose of the sentence, as expressed in the legislation, bearing in mind that work activities for resocialisation purposes provided for in the Penal Enforcement Law (LEP) are both an obligation and a right of persons undergoing re-education. Thus, historical aspects of the prison system in Brazil and the main laws that govern it were also addressed. The Social Work developed in this area focuses on the Metropolitan Patronage of Goiânia, its perspectives and challenges.
