Hugh Morgan OBE is the author of Soviet Aces of WW2, Combat Kill, German Jet Aces of WW2, Me 262: Stormbird Rising and The Stars' War and has written features for Aeroplane Monthly, amongst others. His father was a British Royal Air Force Pilot during World War Two, and he has been interviewing WW2 veterans about their experiences since the 1980s.
