Woven by War presents the intimate and powerful stories of a team whose lives were irrevocably woven together by Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The voices of project managers, engineers, mothers, teachers, and children reveal the resilience, pain, and hope of ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances. Carefully curated through interviews over two years, these first-hand accounts offer readers a poignant reflection on the often-overlooked human face of war that is too easily lost in the rapid churn of daily news. Woven by War serves as a powerful reminder that the fight for freedom reverberates far beyond Ukraine's borders.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Stefanie King is an Austrian-Australian Innovation and Change consultant with over 15 years of leadership experience. In February 2022, she became part of a small group within her company, tasked with supporting over 80 colleagues still in Ukraine as Russia's invasion unfolded. Deeply affected by this experience, she dedicated herself to documenting the powerful stories of her team. Today, Stefanie continues to guide organisations through crises and document narratives that offer a first-hand perspective on change, trauma, and conflict.
