Wrestling a Walrus is for anyone who is facing an immovable obstacle, feels stuck and alone, or holds the weight of big emotions. This little book, with a big idea, gives the reader a way through and forward, not around or backwards. Though written for children, this lesson greatly applies to the adults who nurture them. The journey of the main character mirrors the journey of someone seeking wholeness and is written by a therapist who specializes in helping people navigate anxiety and burnout.

Autorenporträt
Danielle Ireland MSW, LCSW, is a therapist and public speaker who previously worked as a performer and ballroom dance instructor. Her journey from performer to therapist was an exhilarating process of step, stumble, fear, learn, repeat. She is the author of Treasured: A Journal For Unearthing You, and host of the podcast Don't Cut Your Own Bangs, created as a remedy for feeling like everyone has life figured out but you. Her experiences have taught her that when we see the best in ourselves, we bring out the best in others.
