Dr. Rolf Kretschmann ist Co-Leitung des Kompetenzteams der Stadt Mülheim an der Ruhr und der Stadt Oberhausen. Er ist Lehrbeauftragter an der FOM Hochschule und war Professor für Sportwissenschaft an der University of Texas, Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Assistentur) an der Universität Stuttgart sowie Lehrer an einer Gesamtschule in Duisburg.
