When her twin son Jeremiah was diagnosed with autism, she knew her life's work had expanded. Jeremiah inspired her to begin writing and illustrating books and to launch Jeremiah's Corner. Jessica hopes that Yes, We Can! will teach children and families that no matter who you care of where you come from, you can be whatever you want to be. ¿

Jessica Bennett, a devoted mother of two found inspiration for her book Lula Ladybug and the Stick Mess from her children. Within her children and family, she can find strength and happiness to get her through anything. Jessica's favorite place to be is at the Beach where she uses her metal detector to find treasures or combing the sand for shark teeth. Her storytelling is easy and fun to follow, her love and passion shine through her work.
