Born in 1945, Madeleine Melquiond, a history-geography teacher and ENS graduate, has worked as a journalist and teacher. Her previous publications include You Can't Be Serious When You're 60 (Max Milo, 2013), Chère mère détestée (Max Milo, 2014) and Longtemps j'ai vécu avec une bouteille (Albin Michel, 2008).
