Martin Punktilious was born in North London, and un-educated in Cheshunt, Herts. As a teenager he was a runner-up in the Royal Court Theatre's young playwrights competition, and had a rehearsed reading of his play directed by Danny Boyle. He went on to write several more plays which received rehearsed readings and a full production.Mr Punktilious learnt his quiz-writing craft as a writer and researcher at a pre-internet start-up company that transmitted quiz shows in England and trans-Atlantic ally.He has also worked as a Publicity/Press Officer, and has taught English in Poland and Spain.Mr Punktilious was finally educated at the glittering spires of Thames Polytechnic and Essex University.Besides punk, he has a passion for cricket and literature, and a keen interest in animal rights and chess.Mr Punktilious currently resides in Eastbourne.
