Jeff Pennington has worked for more than twenty-five years in data, data science, and artificial intelligence. He has authored or co-authored more than twenty peer-reviewed papers in the fields of biomedical informatics and data privacy. Jeff started his career developing web search analytics at Ask Jeeves, the first major commercial natural language search engine. Most recently, Jeff led data and artificial intelligence as Chief Research Informatics Officer for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute where he worked for seventeen years before writing his first book. Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in computer science.
