Autorenporträt

A Wyoming native who now resides in warmer climates, Mande thinks of herself as a thrill-seeker who was been bitten by the travel bug at an early age. Writing her first picture book was a cathartic way of reflecting upon some of her crazier past adventures in preparation for a life-changing one: motherhood. She now knows how much the two go hand in hand. She is a long standing a member of SCBWI (Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators) and has written for the San Diego Chapter's newsletter, the Valley Roadrunner & Boulevard Magazine, and continue to write picture books for children.
