The avenue analysed is Youth Entrepreneurship and self-employment. This research presents the perceptions and opinions of three selected groups about the factors of an environment that is conducive for Youth Entrepreneurship in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. These three groups are as follows: Youth Entrepreneurs; Youth (Students, Groups and Associations, Full-time employed); and Professionals. The groups were presented with five dimensions: Social and Cultural; Entrepreneurship Education; Finance; Administrative Framework; and Business Development Support. They were asked to discuss and give their perceptions about each of these. Essentially, through the discussions and their perceptions a conducive environment in the context of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia was formulated.
