Kathleen Perricone is a freelance writer of long-form magazines (bookazines) with published titles about Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy, Anne Frank, Barack Obama, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and dozens more. Over the past two decades, Kathleen has also worked as a celebrity news editor in New York City as well as for Yahoo!, Ryan Seacrest Productions, and a reality TV family who shall remain nameless. She lives in Los Angeles. Kelly Smith is an Australian artist, working predominantly in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle illustration. She has worked with a number of high- profile clients, including Valentino, Armani, Maybelline New York, Jenny Packham, and many others. Her work has been published in Vogue (AU, JP, ES), Elle (US), Harper's Bazaar (AU, UAE), In Style (AU, UK), Net-a-Porter magazine, Taschen’s "Illustration Now! FASHION," and New Fashion Illustration: 50 Essential Contemporary Artists by Ana de Izaguirre. Kelly is also the illustrator for Cocktails in Paris by Audrey Laroux, Beyonce is Life by Kathleen Perricone, and Zendaya is Life by Kathleen Perricone. Using fashion to create a story, Kelly's work captures her subject in a delicate manner, exploring texture and line in hand drawn detail or mixed media application.
