Denise J. Allwood is a debut author seeking to bring a new perspective to the devotional space. Although she spent her career as a nurse and healthcare consultant, she often enjoyed literature classes and writing pieces for her studies and work. After a very difficult time in her life which devastated her emotionally, she rekindled her relationship with God. This sparked her journey of reawakening and appreciation for the most important things in her life: God, family, and helping others. Drawing from her deep worship and journey to emotional healing and wholeness, she was inspired by God to write a devotional to help others. Through her creative use of worship songs tied to the theme of each day's devotional topic, she invites readers to embark on a healing journey with God's Word and music that heals the soul.
