This book is for anyone who resonates with any of these things, someone who is a seeker of spirit, serenity, and/or self-awareness/acceptance. You can work through these chapters in two ways: in an intensive mode (one chapter per week) or at a leisurely pace (picking it up when the time and energy suit you). However you choose to use it, this is a workbook that will guide you on a path to manifest a daily practice that is best for you. There is nothing judgmental or punitive in these pages, it is all love. This book aims to be a taste of positive inspiration and a tool-based map towards the spiritual practice of your desire.

Dr. Jessica Litwak is a recognized leader in the field of socially engaged theatre. She is an award-winning playwright, an actor, educator, puppet builder, a creative coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation, and a registered drama therapist accredited by the North American Drama Therapy Association. She is a trained practitioner of Playback, Psychodrama, and Theatre of the Oppressed. She is the Artistic Director of the H.E.A.T. Collective, which she founded to bring together the practices of healing, education, and activism through theatre. She founded ARUNY (Artists Rise Up New York.) Litwak created and ran the New Generation Theatre Ensemble, where she wrote and directed plays for youth which have been produced in Massachusetts and New York. Litwak has a BFA in acting from NYU, an MFA in playwriting from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Theatre as a Vehicle of Personal and Social Change. Litwak is a core member of Theatre Without Borders and a Fulbright Scholar. As a playwright and cultural critic, Litwak is published by No Passport Press, TCG, Applause Books, Amazon, Smith and Krause, The New York Times, Drama Therapy Review, Engaged Scholar Journal, HowlRound, and TCG Salon. Her plays have been produced Off Broadway and in theatres across the U.S., Europe, and The Middle East. Her plays include: My Heart is in the East, The Emma Goldman Trilogy, A Pirate's Lullaby, Secret Agents, Moons of Jupiter, Reincarnation and The Pigeon As an actress Litwak has performed extensively on stages across the U.S. and in Europe, she has appeared in film, television and radio. She conceived and directed The Fear Project in the Czech Republic in India, New York, Wisconsin and Los Angeles, and on Zoom during the Pandemic. She has served as faculty at institutions such as San Francisco State University, Columbia, NYU, Lesley University, Naropa, The Theatre Academy at Los Angeles City College, Masaryk University and the International Director's Symposium at La Mama Umbria. She has used meditation, ritual, drama therapy and theatre as tools for change in Iraq, Lebanon, India, Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, The UK and Italy and across the U.S. She coaches people all over the world about creative and spiritual practices. www.theheatcollective.org
