Her father got transferred to Chicago." We were about 30 miles south of Chicago, so he didn't mind the commute. The only suburb that feeds into this school is Tinley Park. Another high school on the far west side of town also only takes kids from Tinley Park. This made it easy to date in high school. Everyone that went to our school lived within a 10-mile radius. Nick said, "She has the most epic ass I've ever seen. I'd be all over that if I weren't so happy with Mindy." I replied, "I smiled at her in the hall, and she smiled back. I don't know if it means anything, but her beautiful smile. I must find a way to ask her before anyone else gets the same idea." Nick said, "You better hurry. Carter was all over her before class. He may have asked her out already. You better get on that right now."

Follow the story as it gets more interesting. The two get closer but become separated when they go to college. Time passes, and their lives go in very different directions. Yet they find their way back to each other in the most unusual circumstances. You'll enjoy their path.
