Set in 2030, virtual reality (VR) has reached a point where people wearing a headset experience the virtual world as if it was real. Full immersion and human eye resolution devices give people the opportunity to be in a different place without being physically there. However, someone is exploiting VR in a totally illegal way.
In this dystopian short story, the inhabitant of Lost Valley struggle to get enough food as the village has been isolated from the rest of the world. The appearance of black rounded devices, in every corner of the village, is the proof that someone is watching them and that the miserable destiny of Lost Valley is not due to natural causes.
