In this juicy psychological thriller, home organizer Emily is invited to vacation at her beautiful and wealthy new client's summer home-but once inside, Emily doesn't want to leave. The Five C's are my signature system for any organizing job. One: Clear your clutter. Get rid of what doesn't serve you. This is always the hardest part for my clients, and Cap is no exception. She's privileged in ways a blue-collar girl like me would kill for, but she was losing focus among the clutter-until she hired me. Two: Categorize your keepers. Make sure things are grouped in a logical way. It's like me and Cap. We're birds of a feather; we flock together. Three: Corral and contain. Put everything into bins and drawers, then rest easy knowing that what you've kept deserves to stay. When Cap invited me to spend the summer with her family, what she was really saying was that I belong there. Four: Clarify. Adding labels to your bins makes them easier to maintain. Cap isn't ready to label us yet, but girlfriends has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Five: Celebrate! Admittedly, the road to "celebrate" isn't usually this rocky for me. Luckily for Cap, I'm not afraid of a little hard work.
