John Smith was born in Mt. Sterling, KY and never left in heart. His most cherished memories revolved around the grand house high on a hill along the Hinkston Creek, with family in abundance. He was happily married to the late Diane Smith for 47 years and has 2 children (Molly and Tom) and 4 grandchildren (Zoe, Hayden, Hensley and Lainey). He enjoys writing, traveling and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. John began his career as a Junior High American History teacher and later a minister for over 45 years. He currently lives in Fishers, Indiana.
