Herbal complexing agents, which encompass both active phytoconstituents and pharmaceutical excipients, provide novel approaches to addressing these issues by employing various molecular complexation mechanisms. This book goes into detail about the basic ways that complexation works, such as supramolecular interactions, inclusion complexation (like cyclodextrins), phyto-phospholipid complexation (like phytosomes/herbosomes), and metal chelation. It goes into more detail about their important uses in the pharmaceutical industry, such as improving drug formulation and delivery, which makes drugs…mehr

It goes into more detail about their important uses in the pharmaceutical industry, such as improving drug formulation and delivery, which makes drugs more soluble, stable, and available to the body, and allowing for more advanced drug delivery systems.

Autorenporträt
Raj Keshwar Prasad has been teaching for seventeen years and is an Associate Professor at the Shambhunath Institute of Pharmacy in Prayagraj. He has an M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and won the Ranbaxy Gold Medal for being the best student in his M. Pharm. program. He also has a national-level GATE qualification from 2005 and 2006, and AICTE gave him grants while he was doing his M. Pharm.
He knows how to use a lot of complicated analytical tools, such as HPLC and UV Spectrophotometers. He also knows how to use computational chemistry software for molecular modeling, drug design, and QSAR research. Prasad has written or co-written many books and book chapters on subjects like pharmaceutical organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and how to use instruments to analyze things.
His research papers in national and international journals cover a lot of ground, such as QSAR analysis of diverse compounds, making medicinal compounds, and making and testing different drug delivery systems.
