Dr. Garrett holds multiple degrees in higher education, including a Doctor of Philosophy with a specialization in church history. His lifelong contributions to Apostolic scholarship earned him the prestigious Apostolic Apologist Award in 2003, along with recognition as a 21st-century Apostolic father. A proli c author, he has penned numerous works, including ministerial biographies and historical studies that document the faith's enduring legacy. Mentored by the late Bishop M.E. Golder and shaped by the spiritual guidance of his father, the late Bishop W.J.
