Darryl J. W. Temple grew up in Sale, Victoria, Australia, and spent most of his childhood obsessed with science fiction. An avid writer at an early age, he would spend hours on his mother's digital typewriter creating new worlds, centered on spaceships or giant robots. TV shows like Robotech and Teknoman were a large reason why he is obsessed with the idea of space.
