Born in 2003, Aster McGrath (she/they) is a writer and psychology enthusiast who seeks to explore the complexities of the human experience through fantastical tales.

Her writing journey began with the creation of A Frozen Flame, originally written in 2020, which won the 2021 Young Territory Author Awards in Darwin, Australia.

Though her pursuits now take her to other stories, she hopes more than anything to never lose sight of what she sees as the heart of the craft - the ways in which even the most grand stories can mirror our own lives and tell us things about ourselves we may never have known otherwise.
