A medical doctor strives for improving the quality of life for patients based on knowledge and experience and Dr. Steven Morris has been no exception to this motive his entire career as a beloved family physician. He wants to prove there are still doctors that really care about people. Of course, like all doctors he is another human being with past and present problems same as anyone else. His personal and professional life suddenly start crashing all around him and probably more than would be considered typical. He wonders if something is terribly wrong with his thoughts and starts reliving past childhood traumas. He wants to do right by his 3 young children and worries about the direction of his profession and the world he personally experiences as he sees evil all around. The bullies keep winning and he is sick of the failing U.S. medical and legal systems. He wants to do the right thing but doors are being slammed in his face and he feels more closed in than ever. He feels forced into a much different path to address his past trauma while protecting his children and his patients. It is a path of dark terror, a double life that is on the verge of collapse at every turn. His goal is vengeance and the worst kind of violence may not be enough for him. The healer becomes a vigilante as he moves closer to confronting the man that abused him so many years prior. While his thoughts become more frequent and intense, he believes that he is working to bring healing to his children, his patients and himself.
