Varsás Frigyes Mihály 1942.08.11-én, harmadik fiúként született. Félénk, visszahúzódó gyerek volt kimagasló matematikai érzékkel és érdekl¿déssel, ami minden másról elvonta a figyelmét. Közepes eredményeit jó memóriájának köszönhette. Célirányosan a reál tárgyak érdekelték, így szerzett az ELTE TTK-n matematika-fizika tanári diplomát. 70 évesen kezdett verseket írni. A matematika mellett, amely még mindig szerves része az életének, kedvelt id¿töltése a kertészkedés, barkácsolás és a puzzle. Els¿ házasságából egy fia, és egy lánya született. Szerelmes verseit a mostani feleségéhez, Gabushoz írta.
