DL Davito resides with his family near the Intercoastal Waterway in eastern North Carolina. One of his passions is his old wooden sailboat and taking overnight sails with his faithful Lab, Seadog.

It is during those jaunts he can contemplate the mysteries of life under a starlit sky and allow the seeds of his stories to take root.
