Sangiovese is a versatile and food-friendly wine known for its bright acidity, medium to high tannins, and flavors of cherry, tomato, herbs, and spice. It is primarily grown in the central regions of Italy, particularly in Tuscany, where it is the dominant grape variety. The grapes ability to express terroir and age gracefully has earned it a revered status among wine enthusiasts worldwide, cementing its place as one of Italy's most cherished grape varieties.

A Taste of Sangiovese is illustrated with beautiful and inspiring pictures, also for each recipe. Although wine can be complicated, the text is easy to read so that the subject wine - food - and recipes, and why the components fit perfectly together, becomes understandable. Well read, and cheers.
