Autorenporträt
Blaque Diamond is the owner of Blaque Diamond Enterprise (BDE), and the author of In My Mother's House, She Named Me Stacey, and her second children's book. "A Temporary Home for Stacey." Diamond shares advice and best-practice models, while engaging participants in creating an agenda and enhancing and maintaining effective pre and post parenting, foster, and adoptive care to meet the needs of families and children. Since 1981 Diamond has been caring for children and working with children and families, and through a variety of venues has connected with parents, professionals, and community members in her journey. She has provided training on parenting skills, mentoring teen parents and parenting teens. She has three biological children raised nine nieces and nephews, five of whom are now adults, two she recently adopted, and one who she hoping to adopt from the NYC foster care system. Diamond is currently working on the sequel to "In My Mother's House" and her third children's book.
