There are over 200 FACTS (-- probably even 250). At the same time, this book will also enhance your appreciation and knowledge of Acadia.Now, when driving along the fabled 'Ocean Drive' you will know that the granite blocks that border the road have quite the amusing name. You will know that while every sunrise seen from atop Cadillac Mountain is special, you cannot experience 'first sunrise over mainland U.S.' from Acadia during the summer. It is also not the case, contrary to all you may have heard or hear, that Acadia was the first National Park east of the Mississippi. 2016 was also not the centenary of the Park! Plus 'Cadillac' is a fake title. Also, what is deemed Maine's 'First Lake' is in Acadia. Plus, now you will notice that the cute, three-arched bridge over 'Otter Creek' is both curved and banked not because it needs to be, but, instead, just for added aesthetics.
