Joan Watson is known to many Canadians as the ogirinator and host of CBC's highly popular Marketplace, a consumer-advocacy program. After a rich career in broadcasting, she chaired a task force on health care. She started Guardian Angels, a Canada-wide program through which seniors knit bonnets and booties for premature babies. Joan is a member of the board of trustees at Ross Farm Museum.
