The philosophers whom we study are Immanuel Kant, Friedrich Nietzsche, Edmund Husserl, Martin Heidegger, Emmanuel Levinas, Gilles Deleuze, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Gaston Bachelard, Michel Foucault, and Michel Serres. A whole new way of understanding reality casts new light on their philosophies and raises and answers some significant new questions.

Malcolm Torry is a priest in the Church of England who is now priest in charge of St Mary Abchurch in the City of London. He has written and edited books on the characteristics and management of religious and faith-based organizations, and on Basic Income-an unconditional income for every individual-and he is now writing a series of "Actological Explorations" that understand reality as action in changing patterns rather than as beings that change.
