At its heart, adventure meditation is about going to different places and practising mindfulness meditation. MAP, or Mindful Awareness at Places, is a meditation practice that helps you do this. MAP teaches you to let go of the words and ideas you have about a place and connect to the experience with bare awareness.
It is about bringing a sense of adventure to meditation practice by going places and re-experiencing them in a meditative way. Then, when you leave that space, you may get up and think to yourself, "Wow, what an adventure!"
So, get out your map and go practise MAP.
