I'm a layman when it comes to this stuff; I am educated, but by no means am I a mortician, doctor, or scientist. I bought this book only for research for a novel, but I'm amazed at how easy to read, how interesting, but, and most importantly, how objectively based it is. It's rare (if not impossible) to find a scientific text that is enjoyable to read while remaining completely grounded in the facts.
