Autorenporträt
Mr. Antar Aquil was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in the third grade, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at age 38 (2023). He has been writing fiction since age five while aspiring to be a movie director throughout adolescence. Long before he knew that he's autistic, Antar wrote the science-fiction novella Aphanite City Rein at age 13 (1998) out of cathartic necessity combined with his desire to showcase his storytelling style. In his free time, he employs himself as a financial market strategist, and studies quantum physics, as well as the various ways autism presents itself in adults.
