The Goldenbeard Dwarves invited me to spend the winter amongst them in their subterranean city underpinned with structures of a previous age. Life underground took on a rhythm of martial training, mediation, theocratic debate, and magic learning. I became the chief suspect in a murder, that escalated a movement of youths to banish all non dwarves from the mountain. Misunderstandings, theocratic disagreements, and bloody secrets swirl beneath the mountain.
