Autorenporträt
Bill Snavely was born in Connecticut in 1948. His father was a professor at the University of Connecticut. Bill spent a year in Italy and two years in Beirut, Lebanon in his youth. Mysteries and puzzles intrigued Bill so it is not surprising he would become concerned with discovering answers to Autism. Bill received his B.A. in psychology from Muskingum College in 1970 and his Masters degree from the University of Connecticut in Social Work in 1973. He worked for the State of Maryland in the field of Developmental Disabilities. In the evenings Bill provided counseling at Counseling Associates Maryland's Eastern Shore. Upon retirement from the State of Maryland Bill continued providing counseling and for seven years provided Corporate Coaching for Leadquest at some of the largest hospitals in the U.S. Bill is a pilot, scubadiver, classic car restorer and wood carver who makes Trailboards (name boards) for Skipjacks the last remaining commercial sailing vessels in America.
