Autorenporträt
Mark Greene's career began at just 14, working as a boilermaker, fitter and toolmaker in his family's engineering business. In parallel, he completed degrees in mining and mechanical engineering, paving the way for a rapid transition into managing large capital projects. With strong business acumen and a thirst for applying proven project principles, Mark reached the boardroom by 30. Over the following decade, he served as GM of tier-one prime contractors and developed a reputation as a specialist in project recovery.Drawing on both explicit and tacit knowledge, and completing an EMBA along the way, Mark founded both an owner's representative company and a principal contracting business. These ventures found their niche in ultra-large projects and quickly earned the reputation as the company that sets the benchmarks in compliance and performance standards on the project site.Driving both businesses was Mark's determination to eliminate flawed leadership, poor practices, mistakes and inefficiencies.A shift in 2016 saw Mark expand his focus, equipping the project delivery world with tested, proven solutions to the global issue of project overruns-through his works as a trusted adviser, educator and author.
